Terms of Service

Last updated: April 15, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Lira, a mobile application for family expense tracking (“the app”). By downloading, accessing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Who provides the service

Lira is offered by the developer / operator identified in the app store listing. For questions about these Terms, contact: wissam@merheb.net

The service

Lira lets you record and organise expenses, optionally share data with a family group you create or join, and use related features described in the app. We may update, change, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable (for example via app updates or store release notes).

Your account and conduct

Family groups and shared data

If you join or create a family group, other members may see expense and related data according to how the app works. You should only invite people you trust. Leaving a group or deleting your account may not remove all content you contributed from shared history; see our Privacy Policy for details on deletion.

Lira Pro and in-app purchases

Optional paid features (“Pro”) may be available through Google Play or the Apple App Store. Depending on your storefront or device region, Pro may be offered as a one-time purchase or as an auto-renewing subscription; the in-app upgrade screen shows what applies before you pay. Payments, refunds, renewals, cancellations, and billing disputes are handled by the store and subject to that store’s terms and policies. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of any paid feature.

Third-party services

The app relies on third parties (for example Firebase, sign-in providers, and optional AI or notification services). Their use is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

Disclaimer

The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular financial or legal purpose. You use the app for personal or household organisation at your own risk. Lira is not financial, tax, or legal advice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of Lira shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the amount you paid for the app or Pro features in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or fifty (50) US dollars, whichever is greater—unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. You may delete your account as described in the app (for example Settings → Account → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to the service or other users.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, where allowed by law.

Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your place of residence or the jurisdiction required by the app store through which you obtained the app, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where prohibited.
